I like to see this as another version for a proposal, due to the circumstances of being isolated and the nature of the work being a very personal one; it felt right to show these portraits in the context of my own home- specifically my own room. By living in shared accommodation, the only private space that I can call my own is of course my own bedroom. As a result by hanging the work in an environment that reflects my own family home is a notion of nostalgia in an attempt to self comfort during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
